DEPROGIT built the Amar Hisab – আমার হিসাব app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by DEPROGIT at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page informs users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Amar Hisab is a strictly offline application. We prioritize your privacy above all else and do not collect, transmit, sync, or upload any of your personal financial data to our servers or any third-party cloud services.

  • All your data—including incomes, expenses, lending records (dues), and EMI tracking details—is stored 100% locally on your device’s internal storage.

  • You are the sole owner and controller of your data.

2. Permissions and Their Purpose

To provide you with a seamless experience, Amar Hisab requires the following permissions:

  • Read Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): This permission is used strictly to allow you to import customer or supplier names and phone numbers from your phonebook into the app’s lending ledger. Your contacts list is NEVER uploaded to any server. The processing is done entirely on your device.

  • SMS & Phone Intent: The app provides shortcuts to send reminder SMS or make phone calls to your clients. We use standard Android Intents to pass messages to your device’s default SMS or Dialer app. Amar Hisab does not monitor your private SMS inbox or call logs.

  • Storage/Files Access: The app requires this to save manual database backups (.json) and export financial reports (.csv) directly to your device’s file manager.

3. Data Security

We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data. Amar Hisab offers built-in Biometric (Fingerprint/Face) and PIN lock features that utilize your device’s native security hardware to prevent unauthorized access. Because the data remains offline, the ultimate security of your records depends on the security of your device.

4. Data Backup, Restore, and Deletion

  • Backup Policy: Because the app is entirely offline, we cannot recover your data if you lose your phone or uninstall the app without a backup. We strongly encourage users to regularly use the built-in “Backup & Restore” feature.

  • Data Deletion: You can completely delete all your financial records at any time by:

    1. Using the “Reset All Data” option within the app’s settings.

    2. Clearing the app’s storage from your Android device settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Amar Hisab does not use any third-party SDKs for data collection, analytics, or targeted advertising.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our records.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Users are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Any updates will be notified by posting the new Privacy Policy here.
